INDUSTRIAL DISPUTES BILL.
By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright.
CAPETOWN, April 6. Received April 7. 1.5 a.tn.
The Industrial Disputes Bill is now printed. It is based on M. Lemieuk's Canadian bill and apples to all industries. It establishes voluntary conciliation and its machinery compels a resort to that before a strike or lockout. It also provides for the recognition and registration of trades unions. It omits the clauses of the original draft of legalising the federation of trade unions.
It is expected that the Labourites will oppose the bill on'this ground.
