SCHOOL TEACHERS SALARIES
CONSIDERATION NEXT SESSION. A MINISTERIAL PROMISE. (Per United Press Association.) AKAROA, March ii. The Hon. Jas. Allen, Education. in opening a new school at Akaroa this afternoon, said that lie intended next session to give further consideration to the salaries paid to school teachers and hoped to make things better for them, not only in primary schools but also in secondary schools, for In his opinion teachers in the latter schools were very much underpaid and he hoped to make their position more comfortable in future. .
