FROZEN MEAT
LONDON AND BRISTOL MARKETS. A FARMER’S OPINION. (Per United Press Association.) WANGANUI, October 6. . Mr Donald Ross, a prominent farmer who has just returned from the Old Country, promised a meeting of settlers held here in March last that he would .investigate the conditions of the handling of frozen meat at Bristol and London. In an interview with the Chronicle, Mr Ross said that he was perfectly satisfied that it is to the best interests of New Zealand producers to stick to the London market. Ho considers that , Mr Lysnar’s scheme, if carried out, is,_ likely to prove injurious to the dornin-, ions, in that, apart from London being; the best market, the result would be todrive Argentine trade to that great centre. After careful investigation, both in London and Bristol, Mr Ross is of opinion that colonial producers have now nothing serious to complain of ip; the matter of handling, while in a. .short time London will be equipped with the best and most up-to-date docks in the?' United Kingdom. '
