Mr Lind, the United States representative. after an audience with President Huerta, telegraphed President Wilson that Huerta had firmly decided not to allow the United States to mediate on any terms. Continuous fighting is reported from the State of Sonora, where the situation is chaotic. A BOLD THREAT. • MEXICO CITY, August 19. Received 19th, 11.5 p.m. Huerta has notified the United States that unless Government recognition of Mexico is forthcoming immediately all relations between the two countries will be severed.
