TO-DAY'S MATCH.
To the Editor. Sir. —Kindly allow me to suggest that the Executive of the S.R.F.U. allow the public to approach on ground No. two, to witness the match against Canterbury. The new grandstand takes up practically the whole of one side of the playing area, and if a spectator is denied the privilege of witnessing the play from close quarters, the game is robbed of half its outstanding features. A rope and a few stakes is all that is required to give effect to the above suggestion, and it would save a lot of growling from the public.—l am, etc., SPECTATOR. August 19th.
