The taxi was coining down from the North Road as the motor emerged on to the maid thoroughfare front Leet street. To the west of .Hie tram line a collision occurred. as a result of which the front axle of the De Dion was broken and the right hand wheel knocked about. The mudguard on the left hand side of tlie taifi was damaged, the front wheel was dented and the front axle bent. Neither of the cars was able to proceed further, and both had to be removed.
