II p.m. The Daily Telegraph's Pekin correspondent reports that a formidable enveloping movement by i;he northern troops is proceeding for the occupation of a strategic point on the old Yangtse. isolating and menacing Hunan and Kianese. The Chinese newspapers state that all tile troops in the vicinity of Pekin have been armed, and held in readiness. The Cantonese General Chenyuseon. of revolutionary fame, was summarily beheaded. The execution created a sensation.
