(Per United Press Association.) GORE, April 1. The Australasian Draughts championship was continued • to-day. The first game between Gardiner and Hilliker this morning occupied 4% hours, the Gore champion eventually winning. Gardiner adopted an original line of play, getting into a position resembling Strickland’s. Hilliker put up a great light when one man down, but was compelled to retire. The fourth game resulted in a draw. Both players are now equal. The final round started to-night.
