Commenting on Mr Watt's mission the Financial Times states that though he is acting primarily for Victoria Mr Watt Is engaged In initiating business which must redound to the benefit of the whole of Australia. Perhaps ho may be considered the informal envoy of the whole of the States. His survey of Victorian finances shows that the Stale is as sound as a bell. Mr Watt rang out its changes with a firm and confident hand.
