It is feared in official circles that tiiere is grave likelihood of immediate dislocation in the shipping industry' of New South Wales owing to discontent arising through the invalidating of the arbitration award obtained by ttuc Merchant Service Guild. THE WAIHI STRIKE LONDON, December 27. The Daily Citizen's, a Labour newspaper, Wellington correspondent states (hat the Waihi strikers are living in a reign of terror, and are compelled to bide in the bush. Women and children have been driven from their homes in consequence of blacklegs threatening their lives. The correspondent adds that the police and employers are adopting American methods while the strikers are displaying courage and forbearance.
