THE TIMARU TOURNAMENT. TIMARU, December 27, The bowling tournament concluded t* I day save the final in the pairs match. In the first rinks match Payne (Kaituna), Efford (Rangiora), Morgan (Timaru), and Ferguson (Temuka) were in the semi-final, and in the final Paylfe beat Efford. In the second rinks match Bentley (Dunedin). Craighead (Ashburton), Bourne tSt. Albans), and Altcbeson (Timaru), fought out .the semi-final, and in the final Bentley beat Craighead. In the Geraldine pairs semifinal E. Waddell (Phoenix, Oaraaru) beat Torrance (Christchurch), and McLaren (Dunedin) beat Bentley (Dunedin). Waddell and McLaren play off to-mor-row. In the Waimate pairs for the losers in the first round the semi-finals wore between W. Waddell (Phoenix) and Dewar (Timaru) Park;, Smith (Kaituna) and Morgan (Timaru). In the final Smith beat Waddell. The tournament has been a great success in every way.
