tiAWN TENNIS. .DUXEDIX EASTER TOURNAMENT. (Special to tire ‘'Times.”) DUXEDIX, April B. The annual Otago tennis tournament commenced in windy weather. At .times a veritable gale held sway, making things difficult for the players. The entries were somewhat fewer than last year, there being a marked falling oft amongst players from a distance. The only players from Southland were Mra McAra (Gore), Misses Xichol (Bluff), Bowler (Gore), Wilson (Invercargill). Messrs Xorrle (Invercargill), Scott (Gore)., Speirs (Invercargill), Bannerman (Bluff), and Fleming (Gore). Other players from a distance were Miss Bloxam (Christchurch), Xicholls (Oamaru), Hossack (Oamaru). McLaren (Milton). Kright' (Oamaru), Messrs W. Pearce (Timaru), L. Taylor (Auckland), R. Pearse (Milton), Moore (Milton). These players have done very .well so far, and several of them promise to get home in the different sections, particularly Pearse, the Timaru champion, who got well over H. S.
