I, \V, Raymond and Co. abandoned sawjulll area 446, Alton District, and applied for a sawmill area of 100 acres of the reserve, the said 100 acres being part of section 30, block 111, Alton District.—Now area granted. The Commissioner submitted an agreement between H. A. Massey and the Crown wherein Mr Massey agreed to cut out sawmill areas 180 c, 107 a. and 197b. within 18 years from date thereof, and to abandon each year the areas worked out. —Agreement ratified. John King wrote regarding an arrangement he had with the late School Commissioners relative to the draining of section 22, block IX, Walau District, and requested the Board to complete agreement ro tiles.—To bo informed Board had no power.
