THE WAR IN TRIPOLI
REVOLT IN TUNIS. ARABS BUTCHER ITALIANS. [By Telegraph.—Press Association.— Copyright. ] TUNIS. NOV. 10. A revolt among Arab women spread like wildfire and soon there were 1000 rioters. Zouave; wore called out to quell the riot and a conflict enmed. Meanwhile Arab; killed all the Italians they could find. Two men were beaten to death and a child wa; slaughtered on its mother's lap. Houses were forced open and occupants were butchered. The bodies of thirty Arabs and twenty-four Italians have been found, also a great number of wounded. TUNIS, Nov. ’l2. Received November 13, 1 a.m. Eleven hundred arrests have been made in connection with the rioting. TUEKS REPULSED. AFTER DESPERATE ATTEMPTS. TRIPOLI. Nov. 11. Received November 12. 5.5 p.m. The Turks, after seven hours of desperate attempts to recover Fort Hamidlch, were repulsed. THE CHOLERA SCOURGE. BERLIN, Nov. 10. The "Frankfurter Zietung’s" Tripoli correspondent reports that two hundred deaths from cholera have occurred, and that a hundred fresh cases are reported daily. An average of fifty cholera deaths takes place among the troops dally. Typhoid is also spreading.
