WOOL TARIFF AMENDMENT. \ (By Telegraph.—Press Association. —Copyright.) WASHINGTON, July 13. Senator Bailey’s free list amendment to the Reciprocity Bill was defeated by a large majority. Senator Bailey introduced his wool tariff amendment, but the Senate adjourned before a vote was taken. The amendment is a modification of the Wool Bill recently passed in the Lower House. It, places .all duties on manufactured wool on a general average of 30 per cent.
