The Pioneer Lodge of Southland, No. 27, held its half yearly Installation meeting on Thursday evening. The installing officers were D.D.G. Master Bro. E, H. "Whitmore, and assisting Grand Lodge officers, P.G.M. Bro. T. Crawley, D.D.G. Warden, Bro. E. G. Fell, P.C.P., D.D.G. Chaplain, Bro. J. M. Aitken, P.G.M.; D.D.G.R., Secretary, Bro. F. Lawton: D.D.G.F. Secretary, Bro. A, Myers; D.D.G. Treasurer, Bro. W. Donaldson; D.D.G. inside guardian, Bro. J. England; D.D.G." Herald, Bro. H. H. Perrin. The following officers were installed for Jhe ensuing term:—J.P.G. Bro. W. Milley; N.G., Bro. A. Helm; V.G., Bro. J, Martin; warden, Bro. R. Clough: conductor, Bro.’R. Folley; chaplain, Bro. B. Dowler; organist, E. Preddy; R.S.N.G., Bro. J. M. Aitken, P.G.M.; L.S.N.G.. Bro. E. Harlahd; R.S.V.G., Bro. J. R. Whitmore; L.S.V.G., Bro. A. Blomfield; scene supporters, Bros. F. Aitken and H. A. Walker; inside guardian, A, Jordan; outside guardian, Bro. S. Moore, P.G. Afterwards an enjoyable euchre party was conducted by those present, in an interval of which refreshments were partaken of.
