rUUEKS’ PICTiJBES. There was again a large and enthusiastic audience present at the Zealandia Hail last night when the series of pictures which were introduced on Monday night were shown for the last time. Tonight there will bo a change, and notices from northern centres speak in terms of praise regarding the programme. _ •'Pleasures of the Sea” is a yachting picture, ‘Elephant Hunting” is a coloured him A’hich shows how herds of wild eleahants are corralled and captured, and ‘Don Cossacks” shows remarkable riding feats of the Czar's famous soldiers. ‘Caught by the Camera” is described as being clever and very interesting, and '“Mountains of Kentucky” illustrates the laying that “hell knows no fury like a voman scorned.” “Sister-In-Law," ‘Sage, Cherub, and "Widow” are said to ,e dramatic films of a very high order, ■■nd the humorous pictures are claimed o be exceptionally good. Altogether, the jrogramme promises really well, and the nahagement would seem to be justified n claiming that it is well up to the high deture standard to which patrons have jiow become accustomed.
