SLEEPING SICKNESS
CONFERENCE SUGGESTS PRECAUTIONS. (By Telegraph—Preaa Association—Copyright). LONDON, Jan. 25. Received Jan. 25, 9.5 p.m. A conference on sleeping sickness is being held in London. It was resolved that the Cape to Cairo railway should be inspected for glossina palpolis; that railways must cross the llybelt at thenarrowest point to stations within the glossina infected area; that it is essential that there shoilld be clear ground on either side of railways.
