THE HAWKE CUP FUND
The purport of the Lord Hawke Cup Fund is to defray the travelling expenses of the Southland representative cricket eleven in its mutch (at Christchurch or Wellington) to secure first possession of the Hawke Cup. At the request of the Southland Cricket Association contributions of one shilling and more from persons interested in the progress of Southland cricket will be received at the office of this paper, and acknowledged daily.
