A PITIFUL TRAGEDY.

(By .Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright.) MELBOURNE, Nov. 21. Bullet wounds were found in the skull of one of Rheece’s children (whose charred remqins with those of their mother were found in the ruins of their home), and a pea rifle lay near the mother's charred body. It is surmised that Mrs Rheece, who had been strange in her manner for some time, shot the boy in a fit of frenzy, shut herself and the other three children in a room and set fire to the building. The discovery was made by the dead woman’s sister, who came to visit her. The children’s ages ran from 12 months to 7 years.
