TYPHOID IN VICTORIA
505 CASES DURING AERIE. A NATION A DANG Fit. On the authority of the Argus of 4th May. 19.10, we have it that 505 cases of Typhoid Fever occurred in Victoria during the month of April of this year. Such figures are of an alarming nature, and why a malady so easily prevented as Typhoid should he allowed (o occur with such virulence in these days of light anil leading is not easily explained. Professor Hewlett, of (lie London Fuivers'Uy, declares that as a destroyer nf Hie Typhoid germ Quibell's Kerul. as now imported into Australia, is 21 times more powerful than Carbolic Acid, and besides being Hie strongest germicide known, its use is not attended witli any danger or risk whatever; it is non-irri-tant and non-poisonous. .Moreover, the high dilution at which it can he used makes it at once the cheapest disinfectant in the market and as such it commands large and increasing sales all over the world. ■ Messrs Dalgofy ami C.
