(Per United Pi ess Association). \V KI.UXCTOX, Nov. -S. A serious conflagration occurred in Brougham lirive hist niglit wlien an eight-roomed dwelling Wins totally destroyed. The building was owned by Airs Hutcheson and occupied by Mrs Kvarard. The origin of the tire is believed to have been due to a gas .iet being too close to the wail. Very little was saved. The insurance on the furniture was £350; that on the house is unavailable.
