MR ROOSEVELT
A VISIT TO KHARTOUM. By Telegraph.—Press Association. —Copyright. CAIRO, Mfirch 16. Mr Roosevelt, with his wife and daughter, is staying at the Palace, in Khartoum. The ex-President inspected the battlefields round the city, and addressed the students of Gordon College. He said he was greatly Impressed with the wonderful results of British rule, and particularly with the palatial houses and gardens of Khartoum.
