Lord Strathcona, in supporting the remarks made* acknowledged Sir H. Tozer’s great success on the Pacific Cable Board. Sir H. Tozer, in replying, regretted that his retirement was due to illhealth, and said lie was hopeful to be able to serve the Empire in the future.
