IN pursuance of "The Licensing Act, 190S, I, Ivy Grant Russell, Returning Officer for the Licensing District of Awarua, DO HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an Election will bo hold for the return of FIVE QUALIFIED PERSONS to serve as members of the Licensing Committee for the said district, and that the latest day for receiving Nominations of Candidates will lie THE FIRST DAY OF MARCH, 190!), and that the Poll, if necessary, will ho taken at the several polling-places of the said District on THE NINTH DAY OF MARCH, i 909. Every man desirous of becoming a Candidate must bo nominated by not less tlian TWO ELECTORS of the District, by a nomination paper in the prescribed form, delivered to the Returning Oliicer on or before the FIRST DAY OF MARCH, 1909, not later than live o’clock in the afternoon.
