Last night's lire destroyed the upstairs portion of it ho fellmou-pe.-y and the contents, including a Juv.-e riuantity of wool, a large motor and generator, and several drying machines. The machinery on Hie vr mml tloor was damaged by water. Tie workimen used a large Merryweath'.T fii'e engine with good results. and the city -'ire -brigade also rendered excellent service, despite the fact that it was .summoned raiher late.
