The Labour Conference negatived (he proposal that, in the event of ;h,‘ Labour party succeeding to the Ministerial benches, the Ministry should bo recommended by the party in caucus. The Conference resolved that neither the Federal nor State Parliamentary Labour party in future should enter into any alliance extending beyond the life of the then existing Parliament, or grant a promise of immunity from opposition at election time.
