The club held their annual meeting yesterday evening when a representative numlier of riflemen attended. The Captain (Mr J. Gilkison) preshied ; Mr Boyc? read (he annual report and Mr H. Morison l"0 balance-sheet. During the year the eiuli fired matches against th Oreti Uitiis, Bluff Guards, and Southland Mounted Rides, losing the first and winning the others. The club’s team competed at the meeting of the Southland Defence Rifle Association, losing the Caledonian Cup by two points to the Oreti Rides. The balance-sheet showed £9 cos’i in hand.
