Mr Justice Williams to-day gave judgment in an application l.y J. E. Watson and Co., Ltd., for an order directing the Southland I rozen Meat Co. to register a transfer of certain shares. Mr Sim appliad , Mr Hosking (instructed by Hall, Stout and Lillicrap) for the respondents. Tho Frozen Meat Co. claimed to be entitled to refuse to register cn the grounds that the company nail a lien on the shares in respect d 1 ’ a debt due by one of the transferors, and the question was whether the articles of ateSoc-ifatiion gave a lien for a debt due by one only. After argument his Honour delivered judgment, granting an order in terms of the motion.
