The Resurrection of Christ
To tho Editor. Sir, —Last Sunday altornoon bur respected fellow-citizen, Air T. Al. Macdonald, lectured on tho above subject, being the foundation truth of Christian religion,, He dealt with this subject both scripturally and historically with glowing fresLntoess, carrying conviction to every respectable and fair-minded person. At the conclusion he gave an analysis of the lifo and work of Christ, also of the life and work of Paul, the great Apostle of the Gentiles. He ably and with great power emphasised tiae cause which led to the change in Paul’s opposition to Christ and his becoming a believer in Christ and His resurrection from the dead—that it is impossible to explain such an attitude except on the hypothesis of the apostle’s conviction that he had seen Christ on his persecuting errand to Damascus. As I understand that Mr Macdonald is to givq another exposition next Sunday evening in continuation of the same subject, it is to be hoped that those who missed hearing tih'e lecturer last Sunday will avail themselves of this opportunity. — 1 am, etc., MORE LIGHT.
