LONDON, Feb. 22
The famous carriage builders' quarter in Long Acre, London, has been destroyed by lire, the damage amounting to- a quarter of a million. An examination of the submarine A 5, "on which several fatalities occurred, suggests that the explosion was due to a. big leak in the petrol tank, the packing whereof was totally unfit to bear the strain.

supplying two asylums with Australian lamb bearing N.Z. labels. He had contracted to supply N.Z. meat. The hearing was adjourned.
