Also ran.: Wilkins (N.S.W.), Scott (Queensland), Mcllne, Hunter and Nichollh (Victoria). Barker took tho lead from the start, and was never caught, winning comfortably by 8 yards. Pollock in the last fifty yards passed Campbell, who had lufn lyirfg second, and beat the Queenslnnder easily for second place. (No time cabled.)
