Wright, -Stephenson nnd Co. report a.i follows :— We had a poor entry for our sale on Saturday : only about 25 horses of all descriptions were otlerocl. iiu^.o was a guoil attendance of buyers from all parts of the district, amhl ion-petition was keen throughout for all classes of horses. \ounjr draughts were in good demand, but only three animals worthy of merit were forward, and sold at satisfactory prices. A nice -lyr-old mare by Uefoi'iner, stinted to Itoyalist 111?, realised £.'4B ; a bay gelding Oyr-old. £4 5 ; a bay colt rising 4yr*, rather small, X.3U 10s. Young horses being scarce, several of our customers hud to fall back on affed horses, and about a dozen of this class changed hands, and sold up to X,'S2 lOs ; a few old and stilT and done found owners n t up to £11.

Harness Horses — For this cla-ss there was a good demand, and several changed at good prices.
