In connection with the carpenters' dis*. pute, in which the men complain of tho award of the Arbitraticn Court in fixing tlie minimum wage at ls 4d instead of Is Gd per hour, notwithstanding tho fact that the award fixing tho present rato is still unexpired, it is stated that ati the carpenters on one largo contract left their employment. Their places were filled with but little trouble.
