LONDON, Feb. 3
Lord Onslow, speaking at Glasgow, said a sum equal to the estimate to cover claims arising out of m'utury commandeering would be transferred from the Military to the Civil Board, and the Transvaal revenues would bear any oxcess, probably a million.
There are only 45,008 natives working the Rand gold mines, nnd 73>D5 in the collieries.
General Prinsloo, who. with his commando, surrendered on 30th July, 1900, at Brandwater Basin, Orunge River Colony, is dead.
