Several sales have been effected to buyers in the ITaat. It is said the Waihora, Rotorua, Upolu and Janet Nicoll are amoog those sold. The company have made arrange- : ments for the purchase in England of a cargo steamer to be called the Kakapo (25' JO tons), which is looked for at the end of March, and have ordered a duplicate of the Moeraki to be delivered in time for the • summer passenger season. , Onehxtnga, Feb. 3.
