A HANDY WHEELBARROW.
The average home-made wheelbarrow, or barrow, used for home would be useful enough in the hands of a laborer paid for his work by the load. For such work, however, as the worker seeks to make a pleasure it is a great mistake. The presence of the wheel far oat throws an undue portion of the weight of the load on the tmndler, shaking him about and knocking him uporf a quite unnecessary way. The little sketch here> with showa an up-to-date wheelbarrow for
home use where tho fault is not evident, the wheel having boon "insetted" and thus made to cany practically the entire weight. Anyone who is bandy with a box of tools can make this well-balanced wheelbarrow. the most difficult part being the case to protect tho load from the wheel. Even this, however, should not prove an obstacle, and as for the rest it is as easy as using a saw and driving a nail in without splitting the wood.
