A Hint to Babbit Handlers.
[United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph— Copykiqht. ] Jan. 29. Received 32th, 0.55 a.m. A letter received by H. A. Grayaon from W. J. Warner, a well-known London importer of Australian rabbits, urges the necessity for maintaining rigid inspection of rabbits. Warner remarks that there is no Government protection in N.Z, and therefore the game is a very risky one. " I will only take goods from there now on consignment, unless they be packed by my own representative. Properly handled, they are better and finer rabbits all round than Victorian, but lam sorry to say most of the packers are not reliable."
