The press insists on a strict inquiry into the outbreak. Arrangements have been made for the British Mediterranean fleet and sixty-eighfc Italian war vessels to assemble at Naples, where King Edward and Emanuel will review them.
The Royal Commission on University Education in Ireland rejects the scheme for proposed Catholic denominational University, and recommends increased endowments to the Jesuits' University, St. Stephen's Green, or that the archbishops or bishops, be granted a new college with a Catholic atmosphere. The Commission suggests an increase in the grant for the Belfast Queen's College, with a view to developing it.
