Judgment in the Milbourne compensation caso was given this morning, when tho claimants were awarded £141,862 for 28,858 acres, and allowed to retain 600 acres specified. The claimants were also awarded £100 costs. The claim of I'he trustees was for, £184,988. being £164,998 for land at £5 12s per acre,and £20,000 for loss of business. Mr Edgar, one of the assessors, dissented from tho judgment. The award is equal to £4 18s per acre ; the Government offered £4.
