The C'olney Hutch fire was n. terrible disaster ; some struggling with :he insane wlnle the flames licked up a huge wooden building. Over 50 inmates perished. A Norwegian tramp steamer is making a long passage to Sydney, nnd underwriters are gambling on her arrival. A British ship would not bo allowed to go to sea with so little coal.
