The match Star A v. Star B was commenced on Wednesday in the Kastern Reserve. Batting first, the former made 114 runs, to which tho other side responded with 91. Included in the B team was Keeaan, a brawny player from Nightcaps, who has made a reputation in country cricket. He bowls with a slow break, which was not particularly effective, but it is as a batsman tout he excels, am! his strokes O n this occasion justify his reputation. Unfortunately he was run out before he got going, 'but while at the wickets he played sound cricket, and left no doubt as regards his hitting powers when he did open out.
