Mkusoi'kni:, Dec. 14. The Defence Department has been advised that the Victorian Bushmen will remain in South Africa till tho end of the war. Brisbane, Dec. 14. Regarding Lord Kitchener's request that the Imperial Bushmen shall return to South Africa, the Premier states that there will be no difliculty in raising in Queensland another force of SOU or 400 men, as plenty will he glad to go on tho same terms as the last Imperial contingents. SVUNKY, Dec. 14. Eight hundred and fifty army remounts have been .shipped for South Africa. Another steamer taken a quarter nf a million pounds of corned mutton for the army.
