Received 12th, 11.40 p.m. The Ormuz-Ismalia collision was more serious than at first reported. The Ormuz returned to port this morning. Her stern is driven over to starboard, and the plates on both sides, from the water line upwards, burst from the frames. There is also a large hole in the port bow on the level of the main deck. The Israalia has a large hole in her starboard bow. The vessels "were in charge of pilots afc the time of the collision, and both had large numbers of passengers, who both behaved splendidly. The repairs to the Ormuz will take a considerable time and her passengers will be forwarded by another steamer at the end of the week. It is stated that it will cost fully .£3OOO to repair the Ormuz, and almost as much for the Ismalia.
