A. and P. Shows.

[By Telegraih.] Oam abu, Nov. 15. The show of the N.O. A. and P. Association began to-day. There was a capital entry of light horseß, the best in the history of the Association, but cattle and sheep were not so largely represented. Conqueror was the best |thoroughbred, Weinachen the best hackney and Annivsrsary the best carriage stallion. The cups wore won aa follows :— Ayrshire : W. Coman ;. fat stock : N.Z. and A.L. Co ; strong combing merino : W. Gardiner ; Border I/Mcester: J. 5. Holmes ; Downs : Little Bros ; LinooInB : J. S. Holmes ; dairy produce : Miss Gemmell first cup, Miss Mitchell second and Miss Collis third. The entries of light horses were so numerous that the judging could not be completed. Palmjerston North, Nor. 15. Following are the winners of the points prizes at the A. and P. Show :-- Fat sheep : Thomson Bros ; fat cattle : McHardy Bros ; sheep : Nelaon Bros ; cattle iS. W. Luxford; horses : Gammon and Co ; poultry : J. Walker. In the wood-chopping competition iL. Berg won in 6mm 5 sees. The Bawing competition was won by Peterson and Grantham in 54 4-sth sees.
