EUREKA COMPANY, MATAURA.
At the adjourned meeting of shareholders in this company, held in Mr C. W. Brown's office yesterday evening, the report of Messrs Kightly and Bice in reference to boring operations on the terraces was read and received. The report being unsatisfactory it was resolved that the directors be requested to take steps to call an extraordinary meeting of shareholders for the purpose of placing the company in voluntary liquidation. The secretary stated that several proposals had been made for placing the dredge on other claims, and it was resolved that the proposals be formulated and considered at the extraordinary meeting, of which notice will be given to the shareholders.
