Her Bluff cargo comprised 50 bales wool and skins, 1501 cases meat, 3752 sacks oats, 1504 crates rabbits and 2440 carcases Jamb -The Shire Liner Morayshire arrived yesterday afternoon from Port Chalmers and sails direct for London. The Morayshire was launched by Hawthorn, Leslie and Co, Newoastle-on-Tyne, in August last, and this is her first voyage. Her dimensions are length 435 feet, moulded depth 32 feet, gross tonnage 5576 tons, and she can carry 8500 tons on a draught of 26 feet. She is capable of steaming 12 knots an hour on a consumption of 35 tons of coal per day. The three forward holds are insulated and have a capacity for 100,000 carcases of mutton. She has a spar deck, flush fore and aft. On this the gear for working cargo is placed, the derricks being stepped on platforms around the masts and fitted with the most approved patterns of blocks. The saloon, which Is amidships, is handsomely fitted to accommodate a limited number of passengers. The staterooms are also ornately finished and furnished. Abaft the saloon are the officers and engineers quarters, ail exceedingly comfortable. Above the saloon is a promenade deck, on which are the smoking, and captain’s rooms. The ship is lighted by electricity. Associated with Captain Duncan are Mr Dingley, chief; Mr Hurrill, second; Mr Howard, third; Mr . Norman, fourth officer. Mr Small is chief engineer and is assisted by Messrs Lewis, Ratcliffe, Forrester, Fraser, Knigbt and Macfarlane. Mr Millar is chief steward (By Cablb.) Albany, April 27.
