He died from his injuries yesterday. R. Purchas, of the Prebbleton Hotel, and his eon, a lad of ten years, were seriously injured through an explosion of acetylene gas. They had been washing out a pan, after which bhe elder poured water into, and held a lighted match over it. An explosion followed and severely burned the faces of father and son.
