Whitcombs. 0 The steamer Taupo left Dunedin at 2 p.m. on Sunday, and arrived at 4 a.m. yesterday. After shipping 2913 sacks of produce and general cargo she sailed nt 3 p.m. for Oamaru, Timaru and Auckland. The steamer Orowaiti is due this morning from Greymouth. .. . The New, Zealand Shipping Company’s ship Wairoa arrived at Port Chalmers on Sunday from London. Immediately the Wairoa discharges the Dunedin portion of her cargo she comes on to Bluff, and will be the New Zealand Shipping Company’s first wool ship. She also brings over 300 tons of cargo for this port, and will therefore not require to ballast for the passage down. (By Telegraph). Oamaru, Dec. 4, Arrived—Pleiades, ship, from London. [By Cable.] Thursday Island, Dec. 4. The lugger wrecked last week was the Goshawk, not the Curlew. The crew, who were missing and supposed to be drowned, have reached here.
