Co. The steamer Hauroto sailed for Dunedin at 3 p.m. On Saturday. . ... The steamer Taupo is due from Dunedin this mornSng to load grain for the North. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s chartered Steamer Edendale left Hong Kong for the Bluff on the 26th ult. The Edendale calls at Java, and should bo here towards the end of the month. This is the second season the Shipping Company have laid on a Steamer at Bluff for the wool sales, their ship last year being the Kotokino. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company also intend despatching the Maori from the port immediately after the local sales. A pontoon dock, capable of raising and docking vessels of 5000 tons and 350 feet long, was inaugurated at Ellesmere, a port on the Manchester Ship Canal, on the 18th October.
